When Hugo Alewel first opened the store, he brought with him cherished German sausage recipes that would become the foundation of the business. Over time, Alewel’s reputation for quality meats and specialty products grew — and so did its footprint in Warrensburg.

Randy Alewel, the third-generation CEO, expanded the facility four times since taking the helm in 1984. In 2017, the fourth generation joined: Austin Alewel became Director of Marketing and New Business Development — ensuring the future of Alewel’s stays as bright as its past.
