Key Coffee Co.

Where Faith and Community Brew Together

Walking into Key Coffee Co. in Holden, MO...

it gave me goosebumps more than once. Honestly, I fell in love with this coffee shop before I even stepped inside, just from the heart that came through when owners Tiffany, Jason, and Lisa filled out our spotlight form. But the moment I walked in — and saw Jason bustling around while Tiffany and Lisa welcomed guests with warmth — that love instantly grew.

Because this is so much more than a coffee shop.

From the very beginning, their story has been one of faith, perseverance, and community.

Tiffany shared how they opened their doors during COVID, right as Main Street sidewalks were being torn up. Locals weren’t sure the business could make it, but Tiffany, Jason, and Lisa knew this was the journey they were called to pursue.

They pressed forward despite the odds. At times, church services were even held right inside the coffee shop. They dreamed of expanding into the building next door, but the timing never seemed right. Then one day, the opportunity finally came. Hours after signing the papers, they learned another buyer had arrived with cash in hand, ready to purchase it outright. But the deal was already done — and The Lyric House was theirs.

Today, that space is filled with worship, women’s groups, and community gatherings.

During my visit, live music flowed from The Lyric House. I couldn’t help but follow it, and it led me straight into a moment that felt almost unreal — the kind of moment that moves you to tears because it’s so full of beauty and spirit.

And while the story behind Key Coffee Co. is enough to fill your cup, their menu will too! I was treated to the JMason espresso milkshake (a heavenly treat) and the BigJ burrito — a massive, gravy-smothered masterpiece stuffed with meat and cheese. I told myself I couldn’t possibly finish it… but of course I did. It was that good.

Even more powerful than the food and music, though, are the lives being touched here. One woman shared with me how she had been in a very difficult place, searching for stability and a new direction. Tiffany, Jason and Lisa saw her potential, believed in her, and offered her a job. Today, she’s thriving and has discovered a deeper purpose she’ll forever thank the Key Coffee Co. family for helping her find.

I visited with a couple of dear friends while here, and as we glanced around the spacious shop (where a resale store is even on the way!), we all felt the same thing: this place truly feels like home.A home built on faith.
A home for community.
A home for everyone
who walks through its doors.
If you haven’t been yet,

make Key Coffee Co. your next stop.

Just know — you’ll walk out with more than caffeine.

You’ll walk out changed.
