Kelsey’s Corner:
The Coincidences That Keep Me Going
If you’re in a low spot today, take this as a small reminder: you don’t have to compare your journey to anyone else’s. Life has a way of sending the right people at the right time, often as complete strangers.
Recently, visiting Café du Burg to feature their seasonal menu, I met Joel and Elise Hebert. From the instant I walked in, I felt a warmth and kindness radiating in the space. It’s rare—like a hug you didn’t know you needed. Their generosity, from sponsoring our Big Steps Little Hero campaign to offering up an incredible raffle, reminded me how small acts can change someone’s world.
“We have too many coincidences to think this was an accident.” — Kelsey Beaver
In these moments, I’ve realized that helping someone doesn’t have to be monumental. A kind word, a coffee, or simply showing up can rewrite a day, a week, even a life.
So if you can, reach out. Support your neighbor, your local shop, or a community cause. You never truly know whose heart you’ll touch.
