Let's Slow Down...
As we head into Thanksgiving week, I wanted to take a moment to slow things down with you. If your home looks anything like mine right now, there are school projects on the counter, grocery lists taped to the fridge, and kids asking every few minutes if it's finally time to eat. This season has a way of feeling both full and fleeting at the same time.

Here is what I have been reminding myself. It's completely okay to take the pressure off a bit. It's okay if the mashed potatoes have a few lumps or if the kids stay in pajamas longer than planned. Choosing laughter over perfection and connection over the to-do list is the real magic of this holiday.
This Thanksgiving, I am leaning into the moments that do not require a camera or a caption. The early morning coffee. The recipe that gets slightly overcooked but still gets eaten. The kids sneaking extra rolls. The small conversations that end up being the best part of the day.

And if your holiday looks different this year, quieter or busier or messier, I want you to know there is room for that too. Traditions shift and families change. Meeting the day exactly where it is might be the kindest thing you can do for yourself.
I hope your week includes something warm, something comforting, and something that makes you smile without even realizing it. I am giving myself permission to step back a little and enjoy my family, and I hope you find some space to do the same.
Wishing you a Thanksgiving that feels good to your heart.
