Kelsey’s Corner:
Counting Down to What Matters
As the New Year countdown begins, I find myself reflecting less on resolutions and more on moments.
The kind that don’t make it into planners or vision boards—the quiet wins, the deep breaths,
the nights we survived even when we weren’t sure how.
“Sometimes the bravest thing a family can do is simply keep showing up.”
Here in Warrensburg, our community is built on showing up—for Friday night lights, local coffee counters,
school events, and for each other. As a mom, business owner, and Macaroni KID publisher,
I see every day how much heart lives in our local families.
This year, my hope is that we count down to more connection.
More grace. More “we’re doing the best we can” moments.
And fewer expectations that don’t serve us.
If you have a story—big or small—about family life, community,
or a moment that shaped your year, I would love to share it here.
