The Community That Built the Calm Room

By Kelsey Beaver, Macaroni KID Publisher –Clinton, Warrensburg, Sedalia & Whiteman Air Force Base April 1, 2026

Projects like the Calm Room do not happen by accident.

They happen because people choose to step forward when something meaningful is being built for children and families.

The new Calm Room at My Little Town exists today because a group of local businesses, community members, and supporters believed that creating a space for sensory regulation, calm exploration, and inclusive play was something worth investing in.

Each of the individuals and organizations below played a role in helping turn this vision into a reality for our community.

They deserve to be recognized with gratitude and respect for choosing to support families in such a meaningful way.
