Some moments don’t need to be loud to matter.
They just need to happen.
On April 27 at 7:00 PM, our community is scheduled to gather at the City Council meeting at the Municipal Center, 200 S. Holden, Warrensburg, Missouri for the Autism Acceptance Proclamation—a meaningful step toward continued awareness, respect, and inclusion for neurodivergent individuals and their families.
Following the proclamation, families are invited to continue the evening at Cave Hollow for a simple, connection-focused gathering.
No overwhelm.
No pressure.
Just connection.
Why This Moment Matters
For many families, spaces that feel calm, welcoming, and intentional are not extras—they’re essential.
- Visibility without overwhelm
- Connection without pressure
- Support without expectation
And when those moments are created, they deserve to be acknowledged.
What to Expect
This is designed to be a low-pressure, community-centered experience.
- A brief proclamation at the beginning of the city council meeting
- A relaxed, informal gathering afterward
- Space to connect in a way that feels comfortable
Smaller. Intentional. Thoughtful.
