What Advocacy Often Looks Like Behind Closed Doors

Advocacy is not always loud.

Sometimes it looks like:

  • Researching accommodations late at night
  • Preparing your child before every outing
  • Explaining behaviors to people who do not understand
  • Fighting for services, support, and understanding
  • Showing up over and over for your child

Advocacy is often quiet, exhausting, and unseen.

But it matters.

And the parents, caregivers, educators, and professionals doing that work every day deserve recognition too.
