There is a strange pressure that shows up when one season starts turning into another.
Suddenly everybody seems to be doing something.
Decorating. Planning. Booking. Organizing. Getting ahead.
Meanwhile, maybe there are still things sitting on your list from August.
But unfinished doesn't automatically mean behind.
Sometimes you're just in the middle.
The middle of figuring something out. The middle of changing your mind. The middle of a busy season with kids who apparently did not receive a copy of the schedule you so carefully made. 😂
We put so much pressure on ourselves to get to the next version of things that we can start treating the middle like a problem to solve.
Maybe it isn't.
Not every season needs a dramatic beginning and a perfectly wrapped ending. Sometimes life is just a bunch of in-between days that turn out to be the actual story.
