Stop Trying to Win Vacation
There is no prize for seeing the entire ship.
Or riding every ride. Making every reservation. Attending every activity. Staying out until bedtime because “we're only here once.”
You are allowed to waste vacation time.
Take the nap.
Spend two hours doing the exact same thing because your child loves it.
Order something familiar instead of convincing everyone to try the restaurant you researched for three months.
Go back to the room when everybody starts falling apart.
The goal isn't to squeeze every possible experience out of the trip.
The goal is to come home with a family that actually enjoyed being there. Sometimes doing less is exactly how you get more out of it.
