The funny thing about this week's newsletter is that I'm writing it before I can tell you how our trip actually went.
By the time you're reading it, though, we'll be right in the middle of it.
And I'm paying attention to the things family travel articles don't always tell you.
Where can a kid decompress?
What happens when plans fall apart?
What's actually helpful for families with young children? What feels accessible? What's overwhelming? And what did I pack that I absolutely did not need?
Because I don't want to come home and only tell you that the ship was beautiful.
I want to tell you what it was like to actually parent there.
So consider this the beginning. I'm doing the field research now.
